What is Laser Dermatology?

This is the use of lasers in the treatment of various skin conditions including skin resurfacing and the removal of scars and birthmarks. The laser focuses high energy on a small spot allowing it to break up blemishes without impacting the surrounding skin.

We use two types of lasers that have different actions and we choose one depending on which condition we are trying to treat:

Ablative Lasers: Removes outer skin layers to treat deeper issues like wrinkles, scars, and sun damage. Delivers dramatic results with some downtime.
Non-Ablative Lasers: Penetrates below the surface without harming it, boosting collagen and improving texture. Ideal for early aging signs with minimal recovery time.

Booking a consultation to see our Consultant Dermatologist, Dr Hiba Injibar, should be your next step. You have two options to choose from:

Face to Face consultation at our Harley Street state of the art clinic.
Virtual consultations with Dr Hiba Injibar using the Zoom application. If you are not familiar with zoom then a FaceTime, Whatsapp or Skype call could be arranged.

Once Dr Hiba has seen you, she will then discuss the range of solutions that are available to solve your skincare concerns.

You will then either have the treatment on the day or be booked in to start your treatment course on another day.

Dr Hiba saved me. I need to see someone urgently about a fast growing/change growth under my eye. Dr Hiba took me in on her break. She did a wonderful job on removing the growth at a sensitive area. My teenage daughter attended having suffered with bouts of regular breakouts which caused her significant concern and distress. Dr Hiba took the time to explain what was causing the problem and gave very pragmatic and honest advice about the treatment pathway. Less than a week later the results are already evident and my daughter; who only last week felt very low about her skin now has hope that she doesn’t need to suffer any longer.

Ridwana was also incredibly kind and understanding. She shared her own experiences with my daughter making her feel much more at easy.
