What does the treatment do?

A non-surgical facelift, or liquid facelift, can still achieve incredible results in lifting and tightening the skin of the face and neck. Dr Injibar’s liquid facelift in London combines anti-wrinkle injections of botulinum toxin with hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers, injected into specific areas of the face in controlled doses. This allows Dr Injibar to sculpt the face with painstaking attention to detail, respecting the natural facial structure and improving on the patient’s natural beauty by tightening and adding subtle volume to the skin.

In order to achieve optimal results, Dr Injibar requires a thorough consultation and assessment of the skin. This allows her to draw up a comprehensive treatment plan and decide how much to inject, as well as the best places to do so.

Is there any downtime?

Dermal fillers and anti wrinkle injections are non invasive, and patients may resume their normal activities immediately after, though they should be aware that they may experience redness, swelling, bruising, or irritation for a few days post-treatment. Patients should not apply pressure or massage the injection site for a few days.

Are there any side effects?

Patients may experience bruising, swelling, redness, and tenderness for around 2 days after treatment. This should subside in time.

How long do results last?

Unlike surgical facelifts, liquid facelifts are not permanent, and results can last up to 18 months, depending on the body’s reaction and how fast it breaks down the injected substances. To prolong results beyond this, repeat treatment should be carried out.

Am I a candidate?

Dermal fillers are suitable for most patients, though, during the consultation, they should make Dr Injibar aware of any allergies, autoimmune diseases, or infections at the treatment site. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should not undergo dermal filler treatment.

My teenage daughter attended having suffered with bouts of regular breakouts which caused her significant concern and distress. Dr Hiba took the time to explain what was causing the problem and gave very pragmatic and honest advice about the treatment pathway.
