What does the treatment do?

The use of some popular medical drugs for antiaging solutions or tightening sagging skin is well documented, but what patients may not realise is how effective such drugs can also be at treating hyperhidrosis. How soon will I see results from the Hyperhidrosis treatment?

Injectables need some time to take effect, with patients noticing a gradual improvement in the symptoms of hyperhidrosis after around 10 days. Most patients notice up to 80% reduction in sweating after receiving injectable treatment.

How long do results last for?

Injectable treatments for hyperhidrosis usually last between 6 and 8 months. After this time, a repeat treatment is necessary to maintain results.

Can I get injectables for hyperhidrosis?

Injectables are suitable for many patients, though, during your consultation, Dr Injibar will check your medical history to ensure that there are no contraindications for treatment. Injectables should be avoided if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

What is the downtime?

There is little downtime associated with injectable treatments. Most patients can return to normal immediately after treatment.

Are there any side effects?

Patients may experience redness, tenderness, swelling or itching in the treatment areas as a result of the injections. However, this will subside within a few days. More serious side effects should be seen to by a medical professional as soon as possible.

Dr Hiba saved me. I need to see someone urgently about a fast growing/change growth under my eye. Dr Hiba took me in on her break. She did a wonderful job on removing the growth at a sensitive area. My teenage daughter attended having suffered with bouts of regular breakouts which caused her significant concern and distress. Dr Hiba took the time to explain what was causing the problem and gave very pragmatic and honest advice about the treatment pathway.
