Is there any downtime?

Injectables are considered minimally invasive treatments, and as such, there is very little downtime. Most patients are able to return to their everyday routines immediately after treatment. However, care should be taken to follow Dr Injibar’s aftercare advice in order to ensure the best results. This includes avoiding extreme temperatures, vigorous exercise for two days, and lying down, or leaning over for around 6 hours after treatment.

Am I a candidate for injectables?

During your consultation, Dr Injibar will check your medical history to ensure there are no contraindications for any injectable treatments. These treatments are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers, or patients currently taking certain types of medication. That is why it is important to conduct a full consultation before any injectable treatment is done.

What are the side effects of using injectables to treat gummy smile?

Patients may experience bruising, swelling, itching, redness, or tenderness around the site of injection. This is perfectly normal, and should not last more than a few days. More severe or persistent symptoms should be seen to by a medical professional.

Dr Hiba saved me. I need to see someone urgently about a fast growing/change growth under my eye. Dr Hiba took me in on her break. She did a wonderful job on removing the growth at a sensitive area. My teenage daughter attended having suffered with bouts of regular breakouts which caused her significant concern and distress. Dr Hiba took the time to explain what was causing the problem and gave very pragmatic and honest advice about the treatment pathway. Less than a week later the results are already evident and my daughter; who only last week felt very low about her skin now has hope that she doesn’t need to suffer any longer.
