How long do dermal fillers last for?

By using the best quality treatments on the market, many of our patients at Dermasurge can enjoy results for up to 18 months. However, this may vary depending on how each patient reacts to the filler and how quickly their body processes HA. Repeat treatment will be necessary in order to maintain results over a longer period.

What can dermal fillers be used to treat?

Dermal fillers are highly versatile, and can be effectively utilised to treat a range of aesthetic concerns, including indented scarring, facial asymmetry, fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance the lip area. Do dermal fillers hurt?

Though some patients feel discomfort during injections, Dr Injiba does all she can to increase patient comfort and provide a relaxing, enjoyable experience. If required, numbing cream can be used, and some of the fillers we offer contain lidocaine, an anaesthetic that numbs the treatment area during the injection.

Is there any downtime?

Dermal fillers are non-invasive, and patients may resume their normal activities immediately after. However, they should be aware that they may experience redness, swelling, bruising, or irritation for a few days post-treatment. Patients should not apply pressure or massage the injection site for a few days.

Am I a candidate for dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are suitable for most patients. However, during the consultation, patients should inform Dr. Injibar of any allergies, autoimmune diseases, or infections at the site of treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should not undergo dermal filler treatment.

Dr Hiba saved me. I need to see someone urgently about a fast growing/change growth under my eye. Dr Hiba took me in on her break. She did a wonderful job on removing the growth at a sensitive area. My teenage daughter attended having suffered with bouts of regular breakouts which caused her significant concern and distress. Dr Hiba took the time to explain what was causing the problem and gave very pragmatic and honest advice about the treatment pathway.
