What can injectables be used to treat?

Injectables can be used in many different procedures to correct a range of skin conditions. Traditionally used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, these types of injections can also be used to treat eyebrow asymmetry and brow lifts, jaw and neck tightening, excessive sweating, and gummy smiles, amongst other things. A thorough consultation with the doctor must be conducted first.

Am I a candidate for Anti-Wrinkle Injections?

This treatment is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those with sensitivity to botulinum toxin. During your initial consultation with Dr Hiba, your full suitability will be assessed.

Is there any downtime?

Botulinum toxin injections are a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that take around 15 minutes to complete, and there is no downtime. Most patients are able to return to their normal routine the same day, though they should take caution. Results may be visible immediately, but will take around 7 days to become fully apparent.

How long does injectables last?

Injectable treatments at Dermasurge lasts between 4 to 6 months, after which repeat treatment is required to maintain results. This varies from person to person, depending on how your body reacts. After a consultation with the doctor, you will be able to better understand the duration of the injectables.

Dr Hiba saved me. I need to see someone urgently about a fast growing/change growth under my eye. Dr Hiba took me in on her break. She did a wonderful job on removing the growth at a sensitive area. My teenage daughter attended having suffered with bouts of regular breakouts which caused her significant concern and distress. Dr Hiba took the time to explain what was causing the problem and gave very pragmatic and honest advice about the treatment pathway. Less than a week later the results are already evident and my daughter; who only last week felt very low about her skin now has hope that she doesn’t need to suffer any longer.
