Overview
What causes Xanthelasma?
Xanthelasma is yellowish lumps found around the eyes, comprised of fatty deposits, mostly formed of cholesterol. Patients who suffer from Xanthelasma may be suffering from excessive cholesterol, liver issues, or heart disease, though this is not always the case, it is always worth checking with your GP. Although xanthelasma itself does not cause any adverse effect on the health, it can be embarrassing and unsightly, particularly as it occurs in such a prominent area.

How Is Xanthelasma Treated?
While xanthelasma is harmless, many patients choose treatment for cosmetic reasons. Effective options include laser therapy, surgical removal, and other advanced dermatological techniques designed to precisely target and remove the deposits. The most suitable treatment depends on the size, depth, and location of the lesions. At Dermasurge, we provide expert assessment and personalised treatment plans to achieve the best possible cosmetic outcome while minimising the risk of recurrence.

Dr kept me at ease throughout the procedure and made sure I was doing well at all times. I was able to recover without any trouble in the timescale I was given and the result was clear to see. Would highly recommend Dr Hiba Injibar.

Highly recommend,
A very pleasant experience at Dermasurge Clinic especially Dr Hiba Injibar who provided a comprehensive explanation. She is very professional. She does a really high-quality job, I’ve had dermal fillers all over my face, very happy with the results. reassuring and pleasant as are other members of staff.

Dr Hiba saved me. I need to see someone urgently about a fast growing/change growth under my eye. Dr Hiba took me in on her break. She did a wonderful job on removing the growth at a sensitive area. Stitches out this morning and it is almost invisible. Professional, soft-spoken – could not recommend her enough!
I had nose Surgery with Dr Hiba Injibar. I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation, it was apparent that Dr Hiba Injibar has a lot of experience in the procedure which made me feel very secure. She was very clear about what can be done and was also very attentive to my requests. I would not want anyone else to operate me 🙂 I Recommend 100%.
Couldn’t Be More Happy
Really positive experience. Beautiful building, small but well maintained and laid out spaces. Friendly, welcoming and very professional reception staff. Efficient registration. The consultation was expert, careful and thorough. Treatment effective. Plus Dr Hiba is a warm and lovely person!
